Andrea Baptiste
Collegeville
A lifetime Montgomery County resident, Andrea Baptiste grew up in Norristown, attended local schools, and earned a BA degree in History from Marietta College in Ohio. Baptiste was elected to the Collegeville Borough Council and served from 2007 to 2011, and she has been a member of the State Committee since 2011.  Baptiste is a member of the Steering Committee for the Collegeville Borough Sustainability Plan for the Montgomery County Planning Commission, and since 2008 has served as a Board member for the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), a non-profit group that oversees Collegeville’s Main Street Program.  She also co-chairs the CEDC’s Economic Restructuring Committee.

Amy GroSSMaN
WHITEMARSH
Amy Grossman serves as Chair of the Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors and is Liaison to the Planning Commission, the Police Pension Committee and the Emergency Services Board. She also serves as the Whitemarsh Municipal Chair where she works to develop a committed network of Democratic support in and around Whitemarsh Township. Amy was appointed to serve on State Committee in 2014 and looks forward to strengthening and supporting the Democratic Party.

Grossman is Director of Admissions at a non-profit agency serving children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances and challenging behaviors. She also founded and helps manage an Endowment Fund created in memory of her daughter to help support families facing unexpected crisis or extreme need. She serves as Chair of the Montgomery County Youth Center Board and is a strong advocate for children and their families experiencing a variety of challenges. 
Tom Kohler
TOM KOHLER
Upper Merion
Tom Kohler has been an active member of the MCDC for over a decade. He began as a Committee Person and in 2008 and 2010 he served as Campaign Director for Rep. Tim Briggs. Tom currently works for Rep. Briggs as his District Director. At age 29, he was elected Chair/Area Leader of the Upper Merion Area Democratic Committee becoming at the time the youngest area leader in Montgomery County. In 2013 he was the recipient of the MCDC Rising Star Award. In May 2018, Tom was unanimously reelected to this post for a third term and under his leadership, Democrats have been consistently dominant in Upper Merion, Bridgeport and West Conshohocken. 

Tom was elected to the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee in May of 2014 and was named to the Credentials committee in 2018 . 

Tom lives in King of Prussia with his wife Katie.

TUREA HUTSON
Norristown
​Turea Hutson is a Norristown native with a combined seven years of experience in education, and five years experience in government, policy and politics. She is in her second term on the Norristown Area School District Board of Directors. She is currently the sitting president and serves on the Norristown Area Education Foundation Committee.

CARLTON STUART
Upper MERION
​Elected to the State Committee in May 2018, Carlton Stuart is the first openly LGBTQ member of the Montgomery County delegation. He has served as a member of the Upper Merion Area Democratic Committee since 2012 and is currently one of its three Vice Chairs. Carlton has worked with Congresswoman Allyson Y. Schwartz, State Senator Daylin Leach, Congressional candidate Lois Murphy, the Democratic National Committee, and the Human Rights Campaign.  He currently serves as Executive Administrator to Montgomery Co. Commission Chair, Dr. Valerie A. Arkoosh.

Carlton is a member of APSA, Valley Forge Park Alliance, and King of Prussia Historical Society, and is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County.

Dottie Miller was appointed to State Committee in September 2010.  She serves as the president of OPEIU local 1937 at Merck; as Exec VP of the Montgomery County Central Labor Council; and as Vice Chair of the Southeast Allied Labor Federation.  She is the Secretary for The Montco Works Board, serves as Treasurer for the Montgomery County Democratic Women’s Leadership Initiative, and is Vice Chair for the Hatfield Township Planning Commission. Miller is a college instructor at night and serves on the board for the YMCA and supports numerous other charitable groups. She has been a committeeperson, Acting Hatfield Chair, and has run for various elected offices.  Democratic work is family work for the Millers, which includes husband Bob; a son Bobby (married to Amy); and a grandson Luca who is already active in politics.

Murray S. Levin
Lower Merion
Murray Levin has served on State Committee since 2006.  He seeks to work for, speak for, and as far as possible, embody the principles of the Democratic Party including equal opportunity, civil rights, enlightened internationalism, and responsible stewardship of our planet’s resources.  Levin’s political experience includes being a candidate for U.S. Senate, chairman of the Lower Merion and Narberth Democratic Committee, and attendance at the DNC in 2000, 2004, and 2012.  Murray was also just elected to the State Executive Committee from the 24th Senatorial District.
