Andrea Baptiste
Collegeville A lifetime Montgomery County resident, Andrea Baptiste grew up in Norristown, attended local schools, and earned a BA degree in History from Marietta College in Ohio. Baptiste was elected to the Collegeville Borough Council and served from 2007 to 2011, and she has been a member of the State Committee since 2011. Baptiste is a member of the Steering Committee for the Collegeville Borough Sustainability Plan for the Montgomery County Planning Commission, and since 2008 has served as a Board member for the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), a non-profit group that oversees Collegeville’s Main Street Program. She also co-chairs the CEDC’s Economic Restructuring Committee. |

sPRINGFIELD Patrick Eddis is a committee person from Springfield Township, where he also serves on the township's Environmental Advisory Commission. In 2016 he worked as an organizer on the presidential campaign for the Pennsylvania Democratic Committee. He graduated from Temple University's School of Law and the University of Vermont. |

North Wales Greg Moll is a Region Field Director for the Pennsylvania State Education Association and sits on the board for PSEA's political action committee, PACE. Greg is also an attorney licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Previously, Greg served as minicipal chair for the Upper Gwynedd democrats and has volunteerd his time for numerous campaigns. |
TUREA HUTSON
Norristown Turea Hutson is a Norristown native with a combined seven years of experience in education, and five years experience in government, policy and politics. She is in her second term on the Norristown Area School District Board of Directors. She is currently the sitting president and serves on the Norristown Area Education Foundation Committee. |
Joanne olszewski
springfield Joanne is in her fourth term as the Democratic Jury Commissioner for Montgomery County. She previously served as First Vice Chair of MCDC for sixteen years. She also served as an Area Leader and a Committee Person. In the 1990's she founded the Montgomery County Democratic "Warrior Women", an effort to empower local Democratic committee women to be a unified force to help elect Democrats. Joanne has worked to get Democrats elected at all levels, and has served in many different roles: -Montgomery County chair for Harris Wofford's successful special election bid for United States Senate, 1991 -One of the twenty-one electors of the Pennsylvania Electoral College 1996 -Chair, Congressman Joe Hoeffel's successful election to the 13th Congressional District seat, 1998 -Field Director on Congressman Joe Hoeffel's congressional staff, 1999 and 2000 -Delegate to the Democratic National Convention, 1996, 2000, 2004 -Served as MCDC Fall Fundraiser Dinner Chair for more than two decades -Elected member of the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee 2018 Joanne has been married to Bernie Olszewski for 56 years and is a mother of three daughters. In her community, she serves as an officer to The Friends of Hillcrest Pond at Cisco Park, a conservation group founded by her late father, James A. Cisco. |
RUTH DAMSKER
Upper GwyneDD Ruth Damsker served two terms as Montgomery County Commissioner, and three terms as Cheltenham Township Finance Officer, a total service in elective office of almost 20 years. She has served on the State Committee since 2010. Ruth was also just elected to the State Committee Executive Committee from the 12th Senatorial District. Damsker is currently seeking the Democratic nomination for State Senate in the 12th District, and understands the importance of a strong Democratic Party structure in Montgomery County. She has attended State Committee meetings in the past as a proxy, is a member of the State Democratic Women’s Caucus, and will strive toward strengthening party organization, communication, and transparency. |
Amy P. Grossman
Whitemarsh TWP Amy Grossman serves as Chair of the Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors and is Liaison to the Planning Commission, the Police Pension Committee and the Emergency Services Board. She also serves as the Whitemarsh Municipal Chair where she works to develop a committed network of Democratic support in and around Whitemarsh Township. Amy was appointed to serve on State Committee in 2014 and looks forward to strengthening and supporting the Democratic Party. Grossman is Director of Admissions at a non-profit agency serving children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances and challenging behaviors. She also founded and helps manage an Endowment Fund created in memory of her daughter to help support families facing unexpected crisis or extreme need. She serves as Chair of the Montgomery County Youth Center Board and is a strong advocate for children and their families experiencing a variety of challenges. |
AMY CALAMARI
Lower Providence Amy Calamari is a committee person in Lower Providence and also serves on the finance board for the township. She is the current vice chair of the Area 4 Democratic committee and previously represented Area 4 on the Montgomery County Executive Committee. Calamari is also active with the grassroots organization, Turn PA Blue, and is part of the leadership team. She holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. |
D. Gregory Holt
Abington D. Gregory Holt has been a member of State Committee since 1994. He served as Democratic Jury Commission of Montgomery County from 2007 to 2009, and has served as a committee person and as Area 8 Leader. Holt prides himself on his perfect attendance at State Committee meetings for the past 12 years, as well as on his success in building relationships with fellow committee members. He has acted as a proxy for the Chairman at the County Chairs meeting and as a proxy at the State Committee Executive Committee meeting. Holt’s consistent work as a State Committee member has strengthened the status of the Montgomery County delegation. |
TOM KOHLER
Upper Merion Tom Kohler has been an active member of the MCDC for over a decade. He began as a Committee Person and in 2008 and 2010 he served as Campaign Director for Rep. Tim Briggs. Tom currently works for Rep. Briggs as his District Director. At age 29, he was elected Chair/Area Leader of the Upper Merion Area Democratic Committee becoming at the time the youngest area leader in Montgomery County. In 2013 he was the recipient of the MCDC Rising Star Award. In May 2018, Tom was unanimously reelected to this post for a third term and under his leadership, Democrats have been consistently dominant in Upper Merion, Bridgeport and West Conshohocken. Tom was elected to the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee in May of 2014 and was named to the Credentials committee in 2018 . Tom lives in King of Prussia with his wife Katie. |
Murray S. Levin
Lower Merion Murray Levin has served on State Committee since 2006. He seeks to work for, speak for, and as far as possible, embody the principles of the Democratic Party including equal opportunity, civil rights, enlightened internationalism, and responsible stewardship of our planet’s resources. Levin’s political experience includes being a candidate for U.S. Senate, chairman of the Lower Merion and Narberth Democratic Committee, and attendance at the DNC in 2000, 2004, and 2012. Murray was also just elected to the State Executive Committee from the 24th Senatorial District. |

cheltenham Deb McCarter is a former science teacher with a Masters degree in environmental education. She has been a long-time advocate for union issues as a local president. McCarter is currently co-chair of the Cheltenham Democratic Committee, and has served as State Committee member since 2014. She is no stranger to state-wide politics -- having helped grow the local Cheltenham Democrats into a strong Democratic force when it comes to turnout for the local and state candidates. McCarter lives in Cheltenham with her husband Steve, who is a State Representative. |

Norristown Dan Woodall joined the Laborers’ Local 135 in 1970 and presently serves as the elected Business Manager of Laborers’ Local 135, a position he has held since 1987. In 1998 Woodall became Trustee of the Laborers’ District Council of Metropolitan Area of Philadelphia & Vicinity; Trustee and Co-Chairman, Laborers’ District Health and Welfare Fund; Trustee and Co-Chair, Laborers’ District Council Construction Industry Pension Fund; Trustee Laborers’ District Council Prepaid Legal Fund, and L.E.C.E.T Health & Safety Board. Since 1991 he has been President of the Laborers’ District Council of Metropolitan Area of Philadelphia and Vicinity. Woodall was a delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. |
CARLTON STUART
Upper MERION Elected to the State Committee in May 2018, Carlton Stuart is the first openly LGBTQ member of the Montgomery County delegation. He has served as a member of the Upper Merion Area Democratic Committee since 2012 and is currently one of its three Vice Chairs. Carlton has worked with Congresswoman Allyson Y. Schwartz, State Senator Daylin Leach, Congressional candidate Lois Murphy, the Democratic National Committee, and the Human Rights Campaign. He currently serves as Executive Administrator to Montgomery Co. Commission Chair, Dr. Valerie A. Arkoosh. Carlton is a member of APSA, Valley Forge Park Alliance, and King of Prussia Historical Society, and is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. |
